Retailer PanelMost of us think of our players as our customers. But what about our retailers? The more than 225,000 businesses that sell our product are a vital component to our success. Join representatives from various retailer organizations to learn their perspectives on how the lottery can improve its business practices and stimulate sales growth.
Panelists include Jane Shallal and Ed Weglarz, Associated Food and Petroleum Dealers, representing gas stations/convenience stores; Art Dore, representing a range of businesses including restaurants; and Larry Hauck of 7-Eleven and Lundy Edwards of Forward Corporation, representing large retail chains.

Listen to Dr. Nancy Tennant, Corporate Vice President for Leadership and Strategic Competencies for the Michigan - based Whirlpool Corp., the force behind the creation and implementation of major innovations that resulted in what has been called one of the largest change efforts in corporate history. Dr. Tennant, named one of the 25 innovation champions in the world by Business Week magazine, will share thoughts on innovation and change in the lottery world.

Participate in a discussion on how to integrate interactive marketing components into a marketing plan. Presenters are Matt Kates of ePrize, speaking on engaging players with an Internet-based rewards and second chance program; Jeff Barela of Dovetail, speaking on leveraging a centralized marketing database to guide marketing decisions and maximize ROI; Mitch Frazier of Exact Target, speaking on nurturing a personalized dialogue with players via email and text messaging; and Larry Larsen of the social networking platform Facebook.
