On Thursday, September 23, we’ll start the day with a tram tour of the enchanting Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park (http://www.meijergardens.org/), one of the area’s artistic jewels.
Following the visit to the gardens, we’ll board the Grand Lady Riverboat (http://www.grandlady.info/ ) for a relaxing lunch while cruising the Grand River. After lunch, be prepared for a shop til you drop experience in the award-winning historic and hip downtown district of Holland (http://holland.org/sections/3-downtown-holland), a community that was ranked second healthiest/happiest town in the United States by the 2010 Well-being.
The West Michigan experience continues on Friday, September 24, as we travel to the Cascade Winery (http://www.cascadecellars.com/). A visit to this family-owned winery will provide an excellent opportunity to experience Michigan’s bountiful fruit harvest—in a liquid format! The day is completed with an authentic Italian experience at the award winning Tre Cugini Restaurant (http://www.trecugini.com/), where lunch will be served.
