Getting to Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids is easy to get to - wherever the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries attendees are coming from. And once you're here, it's easy to get around! Where else can you check into your downtown hotel within 15 minutes of leaving the airport?

Gerald R. Ford International Airport, the state's second busiest, has direct air service to many cities throughout the country - including Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Memphis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New York - LaGuardia & Newark, Orlando, and Washington D.C.

Each year, over two million peple travel through the airport on the 8 passenger airlines serving Grand Rapids. First-time visitors are always astounded at the comfort, ease and speed of arrival and departure. Lines are short. Employees are helpful!

Driving to Grand Rapids is equally hassle-free - because the city is located at the intersection of two major expressway systems. Drive time from Detroit is 2-1/2 hours; it's 3 hours from Chicago. Not only is it easy to get here, it's easy to be here - logical street layouts, clear street signs and no big-city traffic jams!
